Polecat Cameras was established in

2002 after touring as a Polecam Operator. I have been involved in the corporate and entertainment industry since I was 19 years old (a few years now). Having gained a reputation as a camera operator I wanted to extend my horizons a bit and a friend showed me the Polecam rig. I went over to Bedford to meet Steff (Polecam genius) and was sold the idea of a portable jib there and then. Before I knew it I was out on a tour with Will Young and Gareth Gates (remember them?) as the operator of XL Videos Polecam rig. I had such a good time with the Polecam and could see what a great asset it could be. Soon after that Polecat Cameras was born and I bought my own rig and continue to shoot to this day. If you are thinking of hiring a Polecam; then you probably should. It will add a different dynamic to any shoot, and of course is so portable it can be picked up and moved in seconds.
